Swimming Pool and Spa Plumbing
The Spa Doctor has been plumbing concrete pools and spas for over 5 years
and plumbed more than 200 Infloor cleaning systems Mostley the Paramount
PCC 2000 and the PV3 system. From spas with 16 jets to badu swim jets,
sequenced water features, solar heating and every kind of plumbing
associated with pools and spas, we can do it all and you can have the piece
of mind of all our work being pressure tested and know that its being
installed by a registered plumber.
Below is what we call the infloor rough in:
We like to keep gaps between the infloor cleaning pipes to ensure maximum
transfer of wieght from pool shell through screeenings to ground. We also
make sure all pipes follow floor transistions to ensure they are kept hard
on the ground and not suspended. All side wall rises for penetrations are
checked into the earth ensuring corect concrete cover behind steel. We
prefer to use low voc medium bodied pool and spa specific glue from the USA
made by I.P.S. which is proven stronger under pressure testing than the
standard green pressure glue and dries faster, along with standard red
primer.
Below is what we call the primary plumb after steel stage:

Below is what we call the pipe run and stand pipes at the equipment
location. All pipes put under pressure and held at 200kpa to ensure no
leaks.
Below is the pool and spa equiptment installed and ready for start
up.
Below is an example of the pool equipment located in a plantroom
below the pool and all pipes are brought in through core drill holes
through the concrete panels.
